For all who are weary and need rest

We often start our services with these words, and we mean them. We want Katherine Anglican to be a place of rest, healing, and wholeness in Jesus Christ for you.

"To all who are weary, and need rest;
to all who mourn, and long for comfort;
to all who fail, and desire strength;
to all who sin, and need a Saviour,
Katherine Anglican Church opens wide her doors
with a welcome from Jesus himself, the Friend of sinners."

Our services are open to anyone as we worship together in the Word, in song, and in prayer. If you come to church with us here you can expect our services to be warm, welcoming and centred on Jesus and his love.

We read the Bible and hear it taught each week because we believe that God speaks to us in his Word. (2 Timothy 3:16)

We sing praises together because we believe that the good news of Jesus is worth singing about! (Colossians 3:16)

We pray together because we believe God cares about us and every detail of our lives. (1 Peter 5:7)

Our services last for a little over an hour and we share morning tea together afterwards each Sunday. Our fellowship extends beyond our Sunday service and into all of life. We would love you to get connected in relationships of encouragement and care that will help you no matter what you are going through. (Galatians 6:2)

Whether you’re a Katherine local, new to town, or just passing through, we would love to welcome you. See you soon!
